The most widely used brushes used in industrial brushes should be Niron brushes. The main component of Niron brushes is polyamide, commonly known as Niron (Nylon). The English name Polyamide (referred to as PA) is the general term of thermoplastic resin containing repeated amide groups [NHCO] on the main chain. Including aliphatic PA, fatty - aromatic PA and aromatic PA. Among them, the aliphatic PA has many varieties, large production and wide application, and its name is determined by the number of carbon atoms of the synthetic monomer.


The main varieties of nylon 6 and nylon 66 nylon, dominant, nylon modified variety quantity, such as reinforced nylon monomer casting nylon (MC nylon), reaction injection molding (RIM) aromatic nylon, nylon, nylon, high impact (Supertough nylon), electroplating conductive nylon, nylon, flame retardant nylon, nylon and other polymer blends and alloys, meet various special requirements, widely used in metal, wood and other traditional materials as substitutes for various structural materials. Nylon is the most important engineering plastic, and the production is the first among the five major general engineering plastics. Properties: nylon is a ductile angular semitransparent or milky white crystalline resin. The nylon molecular weight of engineering plastics is generally 1.5-3 million. Nylon has high mechanical strength, high softening point, heat resistance, low friction coefficient, wear resistance, self lubrication, shock absorption and silencing, oil resistant, acid resistant, alkali resistant and common solvents, good insulation, self extinguishing, non-toxic, odorless, good weatherability, dyeing poor. The disadvantage is that the water absorbability is large and affects the dimensional stability and electrical properties. Fiber reinforcement can reduce the water absorption of the resin, so that it can work under high temperature and high humidity. Nylon has good affinity with glass fiber.


Nylon 66 has the highest hardness and rigidity, but the toughness is the worst. All kinds of nylon are sorted according to the size of toughness: PA66 < PA66/6 < PA6 < PA610 < PA11 < PA12. The combustibility of nylon is UL94v-2, oxygen index is 24-28, the decomposition temperature of nylon is more than 299 C, and spontaneous combustion occurs at 449~499 C. The melt fluidity of nylon is good, so the wall thickness of the product can be as small as 1mm.
